Intermediate Sewing

Class Description

Once you've got beginning stitching techniques all sewn up, tackle some more advanced projects at this intermediate level sewing class!

In this class, our instructor will help participants create a new sewing project every week. Participants are asked to bring their own sewing machines when possible, but machines will be available for individuals who do not have their own.

Be sure to prewash any necessary fabric and to iron cotton fabric.

Upcoming Classes

July 6: Make an infinity scarf while learning how to work with knits, an invisible ladder hand stitch, measuring, cutting fabric and reading patterns.
July 13: Make leggings while learning how to work with knits, using a double needle, measuring, cutting fabric and making your own patterns.
July 20: Make a skirt while learning how to work with knits, adding an elastic waist, measuring, cuttng fabric and making your own patterns.
July 27: Make a fabric headband.

Please sign up for this class at least two days in advance.

Cost

$32 plus the cost of supplies. Pick up a supply list when you register for class.
