Zentangle Basics

Class Description

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn method of creating an image using repetitive patterns. As any zentangle enthusiast would say, it's a fun way to help increase focus and creativity.

In this class our instructor Judy will help each participant take a simple pattern and turn it into a piece of black and white art of any size.

Judy has been teaching zentangle to a wide audience of students for four years, and is celebrating her one year anniversary of teaching at Pat Catan's this month. She works with zentangle artists of all levels, but especially beginners. She offers a wealth of knowledge and has a unique ability to bring out everyone's inner artist.

The Feb. 18 class will specifically focus on incorporating color into your zentangle designs. Please register for this class at least one day in advance. Students new to zentangle should bring a Micron pen, #2 or BH pencil and a kneaded eraser on the day of the class.
