Mini Marshmallows
Butter

9x9 Cake Pan
Large Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter
Sucker Sticks
Small Chocolate Decorating Bottles
Wax Paper

How to Make Heart Shaped Krispies

Surprise your Valentine this year with your creative kitchen skills. Not only are Heart Shaped Krispies festive and tasty, they are also easy to make! Follow these instructions and in no time, everyone will want a bite!
 
  • 1 Melt butter

    Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and 10oz bag of mini marshmallows on stove top in a large pot. Once completely melted, remove from heat. 

  • 2 Add krispies

    Add 6 cups of krispies and stir till completely and evenly covered. 

  • 3 Pour into pan

    Spray 9x9 cake pan and hands
    Pour mixture into pan and press out evenly and tight to pan.

    Baker tip - "I found spraying my hands helped to not stick to mixture."

  • 4 Place in fridge

    Place in fridge for approximately 30 minutes. 

  • 5 Cut hearts

    Use large heart shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts out. 

  • 6 Add sticks

    Push sucker sticks into the treat from the bottom. 

  • 7 Melt chocolate

    Melt all the chocolates. 

  • 8 Dip hearts

    Dip a portion of the heart into white chocolate
    Place on wax paper

  • 9 Add colored chocolate

    While still wet, fill bottles with red and pink chocolate and squeeze design on top of the white chocolate to make splattered look. 

  • 10 Add sprinkles

    Add Valentine sprinkles. 

  • 11 Place in fridge

    Place in fridge to set all the chocolate.
