How to Make Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Hippity, Hoppity Easter is on its way and you can add tasty Peanut Butter Eggs to your holiday celebrations! Create delicious Easter eggs and top it all off with melted chocolate and sprinkles.
  • 1 Create mixture

Cream butter, sugar and peanut butter until well combined. Add in vanilla. Sprinkle flour and salt on top of mixture, stir until incorporated.

  • 2 Create eggs

Turn dough onto a piece of parchment paper (or wax paper) and fold paper over so that it covers the top of the dough. Roll dough out until about 1/2" thick. Use a 3" Easter egg cookie cutter to cut eggs out of the dough, setting eggs on a parchment covered baking pan. Roll dough again as needed, until all dough has been shaped into eggs.

  • 3 Freeze eggs

Freeze peanut butter eggs for 30 minutes.

  • 4 Melt chocolate

Melt the chocolate, separating 2-3 TBSP white melting chocolate into small bags with the corners cut for drizzling.

  • 5 Dip eggs in chocolate

Use a fork or a chocolate dipping tool to dip each peanut butter egg in the chocolate, then shake gently to remove any excess. Transfer chocolate coated eggs to parchment or wax paper to cool.

  • 6 Add white chocolate

Immediately drizzle white chocolate on top of each egg and sprinkle with Easter sprinkles. Let cool to harden.

  • 7 Store eggs

Store eggs in an airtight container. Store them in the fridge until ready to serve.
