How to Make Moroccan Inspired Stenciled Embroidery Hoops
Add a splash of color to your walls with these Moroccan Inspired Stenciled Embroidery Hoops! Customize these hoops for any room by choosing fat quarter colors and patterns to coordinate with your decor. When they're finished, connect them and hang them on the wall as one piece, separate them and display them individually or incorporate them into a gallery wall.
Separate & paint hoops
Separate the hoops. Paint the outside and top edge of the outer hoop white. Let dry completey.
Place a piece of cardboard under the flattened material.
Choose your designs and lay your stencil onto the material. Sponge with white paint. Carefully lift the stencil up from the material and place on another section of material. Allow painted areas to dry.
Repeat with remaining fat quarters.
Lay material in hoop
Lay the stenciled material over the inside hoop, and then place the outside hoop over it.
Shift & secure in hoop
Shift the design in the hoop until satisfied, and then tighten the outer hoop.
Turn hoop over and cut off any excess material using scissors. Repeat with other hoops.
