Bandanas: Fuchsia, Lime, Hunter Green
Black Felt
4" Cable Ties
Scissors
Fabric Glue

How to Make a Watermelon Wreath

Brighten up your front door with a Watermelon Wreath! This wreath is so simple to make, all you need is a few basic supplies to bring your front door to life.
  • 1 Cut a few bandanas in half

    Cut 2 pink and 2 fuchsia bandanas in half. 

  • 2 Cut a few more in half

    Cut 3 lime and 3 hunter green bandanas in half. 

  • 3 Fold bandana edges

    On each bandana, fold the cut edge to the center and the hemmed edge to the folded edge. 

  • 4 Add bandana to wreath form

    Following the photo for color placement, thread one end of the folded bandana through the wreath and matching the two ends together. 

  • 5 Secure bandana in place

    Secure the bandana in place using the cable ties and positioning the cable tie around the bandana close to the wreath base. 

  • 6 Trim bandana

    Trim approximately 2.5" off the end of the bandana.

  • 7 Repeat around wreath

    Repeat around the wreath.

  • 8 Trim cable ties

    Trim the cable tie ends from the back of the wreath.

  • 9 Cut raindrop shapes

    Cut raindrop shapes from felt and glue to the pink section of the wreath.
