Cut paper & arrange letters
Remove backing from frame. Cut paper to fit backing. Arrange letters as desired onto paper and press firmly in place. Dry brush white paint over the paper and then dry brush pink paint randomly over the paper. Allow this to dry, remove the letters, and set aside.
Remove bird from the base. Paint the bird with watered down brown paint and wipe down. Allow to dry.
Cut & arrange birch sticks
Cut 2 pieces from the birch sticks to fit across the inside of the frame at different angles. Glue these branches to the paper backing. Cut another section from the birch sticks with the XACTO knife into 2 shorter sizes. Place the frame on its side and hot glue the end of these 2 pieces in place near the other branches - one of these is where the bird will sit.
Hot glue bird to branch
Use your XACTO knife to trim about 1/2" off the birds tail so that it will fit in the frame. Cut a 1" section of a birch branch and hot glue 1 end to the back of the bird and glue the other end to the side of the frame.
Add raffia to branches & embellish
Add some raffia to 1 of the branches if desired. Replace the backing and secures tabs. Embellish the frame with half round pearls.
