How to Make an Owl Room Locator

Make sure everyone makes it to the right place with a bright and cheery Owl Room Locator! Pick the brightest, most colorful scrapbook paper to cover your owl, then add big wiggle eyes and your room number. Hang it right outside your door, to welcome each visitor into the room.

  • 1 Cover owl with paper

Run a 12" x 12" sheet of paper through the Xyron machine. Adhere paper to wooden owl, covering it.

  • 2 Adhere feet & wings

Using the owl as a template, create the wing and feet pieces. Adhere using the Xyron.

  • 3 Add eyes

Punch 2 circles, adhereing them to the face. Stick wiggle eyes to center of circles.

  • 4 Add beak

Cut an elongated diamond shape for the beak. Adhere under eyes.

  • 5 Write room number

Write the room number, room name or teacher's name under the beak using a black marker.
