How to Make a Christmas Tree Washi Tape DIY Card


Washi tape and sparkle tape are an easy way to create a fun Christmas tree design. Whether you decide to go with classic Christmas or modern holiday, you'll be able to change up the style of each card using a variety of tape colors and designs.
 
  • 1 Spray paint cards Spray paint cards

    Use gold, silver or a combination of both to spray paint blank cards. For extra embellishment, add a burst of glitter spray.

  • 2 Cut & adhere tape strips Cut & adhere tape strips

    For the traditional styled tree, all of the strips will be cut to the same length, then do a cross hatch A-frame styled tree. For a modern styled tree, cut strips of tape in progressively smaller lengths.

  • 3 Cut out & attach star Cut out & attach star

    Make a little star for the top of the tree by drawing a star shape on the back side of the glitter tape on the protective strip. Cut out the shape, remove the adhesive backing and adhere.
