How to Make an Elf Christmas Mesh Wreath
This elf had got into a little trouble at Santa's workshop, and fell head first into this festive Elf Christmas Mesh Wreath! Don't worry, no elves we're actually harmed in the making of this adorable wreath. You can see how we constructed ours, and then make one for your home.
Attach mesh to wreath
Attach mesh to the wreath using the attached wire stems, working in a zig zag pattern around the wreath twice. Follow the zig zag pattern by gathering mesh and attaching it to the outer part of the wreath, and then gathering approximately 13" from the first bunch of mesh and attaching it to the inner part of the wreath. Continue in this fashion, attaching at every other wire stem. Fill in any skipped spaces the second time around.
Cut & attach ribbon pieces
Cut ribbon pieces approximately 13" long and attach in the mesh using the wire stems.
Attach mesh tubing
Cut mesh tubing to approximately 2 yd. pieces. Fold them to create bundles with 3 loops each and attach them into the mesh using the wire stems.
Cover wire stems
Cover the ends of the wire stems with ornaments.
Insert the elf into the center of the frame. Use the wire on the elf to secure.
