How to Make a Gold Deer Plaque

Add this woodland themed piece to your door or wall decor this holiday season! A Gold Deer Plaque is the perfect nostalgic accent to your space this season.
  • 1 Remove base

Remove the base from the deer.

  • 2 Paint the deer

Paint the deer black and set aside to dry.

  • 3 Paint the pallet

Water down the brown and black paint and paint the pallet with a rag or brush. Let dry.

  • 4 Add vinyl

Cut a section of the vinyl sheet large enough to cover the deer. Peel and stick the sheet onto the deer. Place the deer facedown onto the cutting mat and trim off the excess vinyl.

  • 5 Glue deer & add ribbon

Glue the deer onto the pallet. Cut a section of ribbon for hanging, then hot glue the ends to the back of the pallet.

  • 6 Glue pine pick & bells

Trim and glue the pine pick to the bottom of the pallet. Glue three bells onto the pick.
