How to Make a Mesh Candy Cane

Show your love for this traditional holiday candy by making a Mesh Candy Cane to display on your front door! Just work the mesh through the metal form, add ribbon and hang it up wherever you please. Choose sparkly accent ribbons and your project is sure to be seen from the street!
  • 1 Attach mesh ribbon

Gather the end of the mesh ribbon and attach it to the bottom of the candy cane form using a chenille stem.

  • 2 Continue attaching ribbon

From there, measure out approximately 13'' of the mesh, gater it and attach to the candy cane form. Continue in a zig zag pattern covering the front of the candy cane form.

  • 3 Create & attach bows

Using the instructions for the Bowdabra®, create several 2 loop bows with tails approximately 7'' wide and attach them to the candy cane form stripes. Refer to the photograph for placement.
