How to Make a Poinsettia Wreath Card
It's never been easier to send a pretty poinsettia to friends and family all across the country! These classic holiday cards are ideal Christmas cards, invitations for festive gatherings, thank you cards and more. Customize them for all of your seasonal occasions.
Trim & attach glitter paper
Trim glitter paper to fit the white card. Attach it to the front of the card.
Cut 3" x 5" sections
Cut a 3" x 5" section from the green paper and the red paper.
Place the oblong frame face-up on the A plate of the Cuttlebug or embossing machine. Set green paper on top of the die cut along with the 2 B plates. Run it through the machine. Remove the die and cut the shape. Repeat with the poinsettia die cut on the red paper.
Add a damask swirl
Place the cut wreath shape into the damask swirl embossing folder and run it though the Cuttlebug or embossing machine.
Add a Christmas tree pattern
Take the leftover oval shape from the green paper and place it face down inside the Christmas tree embossing folder. Center the paper towards the top of the design. Run it through the embossing machine. Add stickles to the design and let dry.
Ink the edges
Use a dauber to ink the edges of the wreath and poinsettia.
Tie a bow
Cut an 8" length of ribbon and slide it through the 2 bottom openings of the wreath. Tie the ribbon into a bow.
Attach the wreath
Center the wreath and the opening onto the card and attach with a tape runner.
Attach the poinsettia
Attach the larger poinsettia to the bottom right side of the wreath with a 3D Glue Dot. Peel and stick a small pop dot to the center of the poinsettia and attach the smaller poinsettia.
Embellish the wreath and poinsettia with half round pearls.
