How to Make a Reindeer Canvas
A new piece of art can transform any home, so deck your walls this winter with this Reindeer Canvas project! Get creative while you paint to add a funky twist to traditional holiday decor.
Paint canvas charcoal
Thin down the charcoal paint with water and paint the canvas. Let dry.
Dry brush canvas
Dry brush the light blue paint over the canvas, letting the charcoal paint show through.
Splatter paint canvas
Splatter white paint onto the canvas. Let the paint dry.
Die cut reindeer
Die cut 2 reindeer from each of the 5 paper colors in the pack.
Apply embossing ink to 1 reindeer from each color. Sprinkle with heavy embossing powder. Tap off excess powder and melt with a heat gun. Repeat the process several times to build up the glaze.
Arrange & attach dit cut reindeer
Arrange and attach the plain die cut reindeer to the canvas.
Arrange & attach embossed reindeer
Attach foam dots to the back of the embossed reindeer and arrange on the canvas overlapping the other reindeer.
