How to Make a Snowflake Banner

Embellish your space with a festive banner for the holiday season! A Snowflake Banner will help set the Christmas cheer for the rest of the year.
  • 1 Paint snowflakes

Paint all of the snowflakes white and set aside to dry.

  • 2 Glue ribbon to circles

Glue the plaid ribbon onto the circles, trim off excess.

  • 3 Cut five ribbon pieces

Cut five 8" sections of plaid ribbon. Fold each in half horizontally and then in half vertically. Cut at an angle at the open end to make a dovetail.

  • 4 Cut a piece of jute

Cut a 36" length of jute. Fold the plaid ribbon in half over the jute, glue the sides of the ribbon together and space them approximately 4" apart.

  • 5 Glue circles with snowflakes

Glue a plaid circle onto each of the large snowflakes. Glue small snowflakes onto the rest of the plaid circles.

  • 6 Attach snowflakes & circles to jute

Attach the snowflakes and circles to the jute by gluing them to the green ribbon.
