Wooden Ho Ho Ho Stocking Hanger
Snowflake Die Cut
Cuttlebug® or Embossing Machine of Choice
Acrylic Paint: Red, Green, White
Painter's Tape
Foam Brushes
Sand Paper

How to Make a Stocking Hanger

Tis the season for holiday tradition! Are you looking for a new place to hang your stockings? Why not make your own Stocking Holder? It is an affordable and festive way to bring the holiday spirits into your space!
  • 1 Remove hardware

    Remove the hardware from the hanger. Use the painter's tape to mask off a border around the rectangular part of the hanger. 

  • 2 Paint letters & rectangle

    Paint the letters red and the rectangle green. Let dry. 

  • 3 Sand letter edges

    Lightly sand the edges of the letters. 

  • 4 Remove tape

    Remove the tape and mask off the area inside the unpainted edges. 

  • 5 Paint edges

    Paint edges white and let dry. Remove the tape. 

  • 6 Cut snowflakes

    Cut out the snowflakes using the Cuttlebug® machine and die cut plates. 

  • 7 Arrange & glue snowflakes

    Arrange and glue the snowflakes onto the green rectangle. 

  • 8 Replace hardware

    Replace the hardware.
