How to Make a 3D Pumpkin

Strengthen your papercrafting skills while you create this 3D Pumpkin project! You can customize the pumpkin to your liking using various types of fall-themed cardstock. Craft the pumpkin to match your home decor and display it on your table as a beautiful centerpiece. This project will make a great accent piece for the entire autumn season!

  • 1 Trace, Cut & Trim

With the 3D pumpkin taken apart, trace the pumpkin shape onto the backsides of the papers and cut them out; trim out the center section of each sheet where the pumpkin will overlap when put together. You will have 12 pieces.

  • 2 Emboss & Ink Paper

Emboss several of the papers with owls and leaves. Brush the ink onto each of the images to color.

  • 3 Attach Paper & Assemble Pumpkin

Attach the papers to the wood pumpkin pieces, then assemble the pumpkin.

  • 4 Cut & Embellish

Die cut the medium tag and several leaves. Embellish the tag with Washi tape, stack two leaves and use the sprinkles. Use a Micron® pen to write "thankful" on the tag. Cut a section of raffia and slip knot it through the tag hole.

  • 5 Cut Wire & Attach Tag

Cut a 24'' length of paper covered wire and slide on the tag. Loop the wire around the pumpkin stem, twist wires and wrap each end around a pencil.
