How to Make a Floral Tape Wrapped Candle Holder

It only takes a few minutes to dress up a plain glass cylinder with floral tape and rich autumn leaves! Use peach and red tape like we did, or adhere other colored floral tape to your candle holder in an abstract pattern. Make just one decorated cylinder as a centerpiece, or make an assortment to display throughout a room.

  • 1 Wrap floral tape

Wrap colored floral tape around a glass vase in an abstract pattern.

  • 2 Glue leaves

Glue a small leaf onto a large leaf.

  • 3 Roll tape into balls

Tear off about 3" to 12" sections of red floral tape and roll into balls.

  • 4 Glue balls onto leaf base

Glue balls onto the leaf near the base.

  • 5 Glue wire to back of leaf

Wrap a 2" section of wire with red floral tape and glue it to the back of the leaf.

  • 6 Glue leaf to vase

Glue the leaf to the center of the vase.

  • 7 Place candle

Place candle inside of the vase.
