How to Make Halloween Tags

Bewitch your friends and family with these enchanting Halloween Tags. Pair spooky stamps with colorful gloss paper to create the perfect combination of trick and treat. Tie a tag on anything from a favor, to a snack as an eerie Halloween label.

  • 1 Cut gloss paper

    Cut the gloss paper in a 5” x 2 ½” tag shape.

  • 2 Drip ink on craft sheet

Drip 5 to 6 drops of alcohol ink and drip 2 to 3 drops of alcohol blending solution on a nonstick craft sheet.

  • 3 Place tag into solution

Place the tag glossy side down into the solution on the craft sheet. The tag will dry seconds after you pick it back up.

  • 4 Stamp the image

Stamp the image on the tag using the embossing pad. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tap off any excess powder and heat with the heat tool.

  • 5 Add embellishments

Attach the bottle cap with a Glue Dot. Attach the button inside of the bottle cloth with pieces of cheese cloth.

  • 6 Add a raffia loop

Punch a hole in the top of the tag and add a ribbon or raffia loop for tying.
