How to Make Mummy Halloween Buckets

These glowing treat buckets come in handy at Halloween! Use a lighted Mummy Halloween Bucket as your child's trick-or-treating bag or create several and use them to light up your front porch or pathway. You can even use them as eerie glowing teat buckets at a Halloween party.

  • 1 Cut cheesecloth strips

Cut cheesecloth strips about 1" wide.

  • 2 Wrap bucket with strips

Wrap strips around the bucket and knot in place. Cover entire bucket and position strips so knots are spread around the bucket.

  • 3 Add nose

Flatten a side of a Durafoam ball and glue onto the center of the bucket for a nose. Cover with several sections of cheesecloth and glue down.

  • 4 Glue on eyes

Glue eyes above nose and tie on several more strips of cheesecloth overlapping the nose and eyes.

  • 5 Apply black ink

Randomly apply black ink to the cheesecloth with a sponge dabber.

  • 6 Add lights

Drop a battery pack of mini lights into the bucket.
