4" 3D Wood Stars
12" Grapevine Wreath
Rustic Tin Stars
2 1/2" Red Burlap
2 1/2" Ivory Burlap
Blue Craft Paint
Foam Brush

How to Make a Burlap Wrapped Grapevine Wreath


It's fun to incorporate some patriotic pride into summertime crafts, and our favorite way to do it is with a little red, white and blue! This Burlap Wrapped Grapevine Wreath is easy to make and the different textures and dimensional accents will add tons of patriotic personality to your front door.

 
  • 1 Paint stars Paint stars

    Use the foam brush to apply 2 to 3 coats of craft paint to the 3D wood stars. Let dry completely.

  • 2 Wrap & secure ribbon Wrap & secure ribbon

    Wrap the ivory burlap ribbon around the left-hand side of the wreath until about 1/3 of the wreath is covered. Secure the ribbon with dabs of hot glue as you go.

  • 3 Arrange & secure stars Arrange & secure stars

    Arrange the stars on the surface of the burlap-wrapped portion of the wreath until you are satisfied with the overall design. Secure each star to the wreath with hot glue, overlapping the edges of the stars for added dimension. While adhering stars, leave a 2" gap for a bow.

  • 4 Tie & attach bow Tie & attach bow

    Create a bow with the red ribbon burlap. Secure the bow with hot glue in the open space between the stars.
