Unleash your creativity and pride for your country with this project! Hang this Patriotic Painted Wooden Number on your patio or give it to a friend. You could even customize the number and paint colors and turn it into a kids birthday project!
  • 1 Paint stars & number

Paint 4 small stars and the number 4 with watered down dark brown paint. Allow to dry.

  • 2 Paint tops of stars

Paint just the tops of the 4 stars with white paint and set aside to dry.

  • 3 Paint red, blue & sand

Paint the sides of the number 4 red and the front cobalt blue and allow to dry completely. Sand the edges and front of the number 4 and the stars.

  • 4 Attach stars to 4 & wrap with twine

Arrange your 4 stars onto the number 4 and glue together. Wrap bakers twine four times around the number 4 and tie a small bow.

  • 5 Cut flap for marbles & fill

Place the number 4 face-down and cut a 1.5" flap around 3-4" from the bottom. Hold the 4 in place, lift the flap and pour half marbles or small stones inside the number 4 until the number can stand on its own. Close the flap and cut a piece of duct tape to secure.
