3/8" Cotton Rope
4" Cork Disks
Rope Cutter
E6000® Adhesive
Hot Glue

How to Make Cotton Rope Coasters

Avoid a sticky situation and create your own Cotton Rope Coasters! These coasters are easy to make and will be a nice touch to any social gathering place.
  • 1 Glue rope & anchor

    Hot glue the end of the rope to the center of the cork to anchor it in place.

  • 2 Coil rope onto cork

    Squeeze a bead of the adhesive around the center of the cork and begin coiling the rope onto the cork pressing it firmly into place.

  • 3 Continue gluing & coiling

    Continue gluing and coiling until cork is covered.

  • 4 Cut rope

    Use the rope cutter to cut the rope. Dab the end of the rope with hot glue and press it against the edge of the coil.
