How to Make Ocean Glass Bottles

Can't get away? Plan a beachy escape to your craft room and make these Ocean Glass Bottles. Enjoy sun, sand and crafty fun all in one simple project!

  • 1 Clean & ink bottles

Clean outside of bottles. Apply alcohol inks onto bottles. Use felt applicator and solvent to spread ink.

  • 2 Apply sand & shells to bottles

Mix Mod Podge and sand in a small bowl, forming a paste. Spread onto the bottom portion of the bottles. Push shells into the sand while wet. Let set overnight, or until completely dry.

  • 3 Cut & wrap paper

Cut 3" and 4" sections of paper to wrap around larger bottles.

  • 4 Die cut & attach circles

Die cut 2 circles 3" and 2 1/2" out of blue and pastel yellow paper. Attach circles to each other and onto the label with foam dots. Add a sticker to the center.

  • 5 Wrap with hemp cord

Wrap neck of bottle with hemp cord. Glue mini wood cutouts back to back on the cord ends.
