How to Make a Patriotic Cookie Pizza

Celebrate Americana and cool off this summer with a tasty Patriotic Cookie Pizza treat! Bake a delicious chocolate cookie dough, add vanilla ice cream and top it all off with festive sprinkles and syrup. This dessert is easy to make and will be a hit at your Fourth of July picnic!
  • 1 Create & Mix cookie dough batter

Mix the cookie dough batter. Start with the dry ingredients (including the cocoa powder) and set aside. Cream together the butter and white and brown sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Finally, add in the dry ingredients 1 cup at a time.

  • 2 Pour dough into pan

Pour all of the chocolate cookie dough into a 12" pizza pan.

  • 3 Add parchment paper

Place a piece of parchment paper on top of the dough and press the dough into the pizza pan.

  • 4 Bake the cookie dough

Once the cookie dough is evenly pressed into the pan, bake in a 350 degree oven for 16-18 minutes. Allow the cookie to completely cool.

  • 5 Add ice cream

Place 1 gallon of vanilla ice cream in a mixer and briefly mix on a low speed until the ice cream has slightly softened. Spoon the softened vanilla ice cream into the cooled cookie shell. Place in the freezer so the ice cream can harden.

  • 6 Decorate

Decorate the top of the Ice Cream Cookie Pizza with sprinkles, chocolate syrup and mini chocolate chips.
