9" Paper Plate
2 3/4" Circle Punch
1 3/4" Circle Punch
Tissue Paper Squares
Red Chenille Stem
Google Eyes
Orange Cardstock
Brown Cardstock
Hercules Glue Stick
Foam Mount
Scissors

How to Make a Tissue Paper Turkey


Get your kids excited for Thanksgiving and spend an afternoon making Tissue Paper Turkeys! This fun craft uses everyday supplies that give each child an opportunity to craft a customized turkey. Plus, they'll love seeing their handiwork around the house on Thanksgiving Day!
 
  • 1 Cut plate

    Cut plate in half.

  • 2 Cover

    Cover with glue stick.

  • 3 Add tissue

    Place tissure squares over entire plate.

  • 4 Punch circle

    Punch out a 2 3/4" brown circle and glue to your plate.

  • 5 Punch another circle

    Punch out a 1 3/4" brown circle and foam mount it to the upper part of the first circle.

  • 6 Cut diamond shape

    Cut out a diamond shape from the orange card stock, fold in half and glue to the head.

  • 7 Cut stem

    Cut a 1 1/2" piece of red stem and glue above the beak.

  • 8 Add eyes

    Glue on google eyes.

  • 9 Cut feet

    Cut turkey feet shape and attach to the back of the turkey.
