Take a small piece of modeling clay and roll it into a ball. Use your fingers to shape the clay into a heart shape. Use the wood skewer stick to form the top middle of the heart.
Decide which sentiment you want on your hearts, and use the small ABC stamps to stamp it into your hearts.
Let clay dry
Let the clay dry thoroughly and harden by leaving it out. This may take up to 2 days. Do not dry clay in the oven.
Once the hearts are hardened, paint each using conversation heart colors, then let dry.
Paint indented letters
Once dry, add a few drops of water to a small amount of red craft paint and mix. Use a tiny paint brush or your wood skewer to carefully paint the indented letters on each heart, making them look like real conversation hearts. Let dry completely.
Glue on ring backs & magnets
Use a small amount of E-6000 glue to adhere the hearts to each ring blank or small magnet. Let dry for 24 hours.
