24" Unfinished Wood Shelf 
Acrylic Paints: light grey, brown and black
Paint Brushes 
Sanding Block 
Drill with 3/16" Bit

How to Make a Distressed Jewelry Hanger 

Save yourself the stress of having to search high and low for your favorite bracelet with this Distressed Jewelry Hanger! Not only will it look good hanging on your wall, but it is fun to make and will save you a lot of time by keeping all of your favorite jewelry organized and in one place! 
  • 1 Drill holes

    Remove pegs from board and drill through each hole. 

  • 2 Apply paint

    Water down grey paint and apply a base coat to the wood. Thin down brown and black paint and apply a light coat over the grey. Sand surface and wipe down. 

  • 3 Insert hardware

    Screw hardware into the holes you've drilled. Use bolt cutters to trim the hardware stems. 

  • 4 Attach hangers

    Finally, attach the saw tooth hangers to the back for hanging.
