How to Make a Pumpkin DIY Soap Dispenser

Washing your hands is more fun when you are equipped with a cute DIY soap dispenser! This adorable Mason jar pumpkin is the only Halloween soap dispenser you will ever need – the grinning jack-o-lantern is the perfect addition to your bathroom or kitchen sink.
  • 1 Paint

    Paint the jar orange and the lid green.

  • 2 Bake jar

    Place the jar and lid on a cookie sheet in a cold oven. Bake the pieces as directed on the paint bottle. Once the pieces are baked, shut off the oven and leave the pieces in the oven with the oven door closed overnight.

  • 3 Draw a face

    Draw a face on the pumpkin using the black Sharpie paint marker.

  • 4 Draw details

    Draw dashed detail lines vertically down the pumpkin to simulate ridges using the gold Sharpie paint marker.

  • 5 Assemble soap pump

    Cut pump straw to fit the jar and assemble.

  • 6 Tie raffia

    Tie raffia around the jar’s rim.
