How to Make an Embossed Heart

Embossing is a great way to add designs to your crafting. These Embossed Hearts, with their color and sparkle, are perfect for decorating. Use your favorite colors to put in a personal touch.

  • 1 Punch hole

Use the Crop-a-Dile to punch hole in heart for hanging.

  • 2 Ink

Ink heart with a pigment inkpad.

  • 3 Stamp

Stamp entire heart with an embossing pad. Sprinkle embossing enamel over the heart.

  • 4 Melt enamel

Use heat gun to melt enamel on heart.

  • 5 Repeat

Repeat steps 3 and 4 - 2 times. While enamel is hot, sprinkle glitter flakes onto the heart.

  • 6 Choose stamp

Choose stamp and position on acrylic block. Ink with embossing pad or Stayzon inkpad.

  • 7 Heat

Heat enamel with heat gun and press stamp onto heart. Lift off stamp.

  • 8 Repeat

Repeat step 7 if you want to add another stamp.

  • 9 Apply powder

Apply perfect pearls with a brush over the stamped areas.

  • 10 Cut ribbon

Cut a 12" section of thin ribbon, fold in half, slide through the hole, loop and tie ends for hanging.

  • 11 Pour excess

Pour excess enamel back into container.
