  • 1 Attach ribbon to dowel

Attach end of the 3/8" ribbon to end of a dowel rod using a spring clothespin.

  • 2 Wrap dowel rod with ribbon

Wrap the dowel rod with ribbon to the opposite end. Hold it in place with another spring clothespin.

  • 3 Heat ribbon on dowel

Using the heating tool, heat the ribbon on the dowel rod for a minute. Do not hold the tool too close to the ribbon, and be sure to continously move the heat tool.

  • 4 Let ribbon cool

Allow the ribbon to cool on the dowel rod.

  • 5 Cut ribbon

Slide the ribbon off of the dowel rod and cut it into approximately 8" lengths.

  • 6 Place wire

Place the Bowdabra wire into the Bowdabra.

  • 7 Gather metallic mesh

Gather 1 yd. of metallic mesh down the center, into the Bowdabra.

  • 8 Create 10 ribbon loops

Using 1 1/2 yds. of the Vichy metallic ribbon, create 10 loops on to of the metallic mesh in the Bowdabra.

  • 9 Add ribbon curls

Add 6, 8" ribbon curls on top of the Vichy ribbon.

  • 10 Compress & tie bow

Compress the bow and tie it together using Bowdabra wire.

  • 11 Attach bow to headband

Attach the bow to the headband with the Bowdabra wire.
