How to Catch a Ghost

Capturing your very own ghost has never been so simple! This Halloween, add a Catch a Ghost to your decor for the perfect spooktacular accent.

  • 1 Paint wood circles

Paint the wood circle black and allow to dry.

  • 2 Cut circles from cheesecloth

Cut a 6" circle from four layers of cheesecloth.

  • 3 Add Stryofoam ball

Cut the Styrofoam® ball in half then glue the flat side to the center of the black circle.

  • 4 Cut the dowel rod

Cut a piece of the dowel rod to 2½" long.

  • 5 Glue pieces together

Glue one end of the dowel rod pieces into the Durafoam ball and the other end into the Styrofoam® ball at the base.

  • 6 Add cheesecloth

Apply glue to the black circle. Drape the cheesecloth over the Durafoam ball (head), pushing the cloth edges into the glue. Adjust the cheesecloth to give a ghostly shape.

  • 7 Glue eyes

Glue the wiggle eyes onto the ghost.

  • 8 Add the cup

Place the cup over the ghost, gluing it to the black circle base.
