How to Make DIY Spider Halloween Soap

Keeping your hands clean has never been such sudsy, spooky fun! Children will love customizing this kid-friendly project by adding different fragrance oils, soap coloring and creepy critters to their finished soap.
  • 1 Cut & melt soap base Cut & melt soap base

Cut the glycerin soap base into small chunks and place them in a microwave safe dish. Half of a soap base bar will make 4 to 6 bars of soap depending on the size of the mold. Microwave the soap for 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the soap is fully melted.

  • 2 Add fragrance & coloring

Once the soap is melted add a few drops of your selected fragrance and soap coloring. Mix together well.

  • 3 Pour soap mixture Pour soap mixture

Add spiders to the bottom of the soap molds, then pour the soap mixture into the molds. If the spiders begin to rise to the top of the mold, which is the bottom of the soap, use a toothpick to push them down.

  • 4 Let cool

Place your soap in the freezer for about 10 minutes to easily pop it out of the mold.
