How to Make a Friendly Ladybug Paper Puppet

You know what really bugs us? Not enough fun and easy to make spring craft projects on the internet! Don't worry, we've got you covered with our Friendly Ladybug Paper Puppet! Get started on yours today!
  • 1 Trim paper for Cuttlebug

Trim papers to fit onto Cuttlebug plates or the embossing machine you choose to use for this project.

  • 2 Insert into machine

Place 4" and 2" circles onto A plate, flat side down - one above the other. Lay black paper on top of dies followed by B and C plates. Run them through the machine. Repeat process with only the 4" circle and red paper.

  • 3 Punch holes

Punch a small hole in both black circles about 1/2" from edge. Overlap the circles and line up the holes; glue small circle under larger one.

  • 4 Glue on eyes & nose

Glue on wiggle eyes and pom nose.

  • 5 Create & attach wings

Cut red circle in half. Hold halves together and punch a small hole near top cut edge. Separate the wings, place them over the body and overlap wings where punched. Insert a brad into the hole and separate the tabs to secure.

  • 6 Add spots & glue to craft stick

Punch 6 - 3/4" circles from black paper and glue them onto the wings. Glue your ladybug onto the jumbo craft stick and it's good to go!
