  • 1 Place bandana

Seperate the hoops. Wrap the top edge of the tie-dye bandana around the inner hoop leaving ½ above the hoop. Place several dots of glue onto the hoop to hold the bandana in place.

  • 2 Tighten bandana in place

Slide the outer hoop over the bandana and inner hoop, tighten into place.

  • 3 Glue in place

Line up the edges and glue a line down the bandana where sides overlap, about 1" wide. Press the edges together to secure, glue in place.

  • 4 Trace & cut template

Fold the bandana lengthwise and bring the edges together. Position the template along the edge. Trace the template, remove and cut out the shape.

  • 5 Fold & cut white bandana

Foold white bandana and cut it in half. Take one half and fold it lengthwise. Cut a curved V at the bottom center. Open the bandana, you'll have two scalloped pieces. Only one piece is needed. Glue the straight edge along the outside hoop, keeping the top edges even.

  • 6 Add red ribbon

Cut a 20" section of red ribbon. Glue the ribbon along the edge of the outside hoop. Open the outside hoop and slide off the inner hoop.

  • 7 Add eyes

Cut two 2.5" circles from the black felt and glue a wiggle eye onto each. Glue the circles onto the white bandana about 5" from the edges.

  • 8 Add more ribbon

Cut two 50" sections of thin ribbon. Fold the two sections in half, make a small center loop and knot. Divide the four sections around the inner hoop and glue in place. Let the ribbon fall inside the hoop.

  • 9 Finish windsock

Slide the outer hoop over the inner hoop and tighten the screw.
