How to Make a Leprechaun Hat
Get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit and create your own Leprechaun Hat! Not only are the festive and fun, but they are also simple and quick to make. Gather the kiddies and spend 30 minutes crafting a Leprechaun Hat.

Cut beard
Cut the beard from the orange felt.

Cut chenille stem
Cut a chenille stem in half. Fold one piece in half and curl the ends for hands.

Glue poms together
Glue the green pom poms and large pink pom pom together with the folded part of the chenille stem between the pom poms.

Attach beard to pom
Glue the beard to the pink pom pom.

Glue eyes and buttons
Glue the eyes and buttons in place, set the leprechaun aside.

Cover craft tube
Using green paper and glue stick, cover the craft tube.

Cut circle
Cut a 2" circle form green paper. Center the covered craft tube on the circle and glue in place.

Cut black vinyl
Cut a strip of the black vinyl sheet to ½" by 6".

Cut gold paper
Cut a 1" square from the gold glitter paper. Cut two ½" slits ¼" in and down from each edge.

Slide vinyl through slits
Slide the vinyl strip thorugh the slits, peal off the backing and wrap it around the craft tube.

Finish off project
Place the finished leprechaun in the top of the hat.
