How to Make a Princess Puppet Craft

If you have a little girl, chances are she loves princesses! What better way to play make-believe than this Princess Puppet Craft. Make other puppet characters and act out your favorite fairy tale!

  • 1 Paint the spoon

    Paint the handle of the spoon and the cheek area pink (refer to photo for placement).

  • 2 Create crown

    Back two pieces of duct tape together and cut out a crown shape. 

  • 3 Create arms

    Cut chenille stems in half, wrap it twice around the spoon handle, twist it 3-4 times and place ends towards the front of spoon, place wooden beads at the end of the chenille stems. 

  • 4 Cut & tie tulle

    Cut 12, 12" pieces of tulle and tie onto a 6" piece of ribbon. 

  • 5 Tie ribbon

    Tie above arm on spoon handle. 

  • 6 Cut & braid yarn

    Cut 13, 16" pieces of yarn, knot as a grouping in the center. Braid the yarn on each side and tie ends with ribbon.

  • 7 Adhere hair

    Adhere hair to the top of the spoon using Glue Dots®.

  • 8 Create the face

    Referring to photo, attach eyes and nose using either glue or Glue Dots® and draw the mouth and freckles using the micron pen. 

  • 9 Attach crown

    Attach crown ends togther using Glue Dots®, making adjustments to fit the top of the spoon, attach 8" piece of tulle coming out of the top of the crown.
