How to Make Brushed DIY Watercolor Note Cards


With a few simple brush strokes, turn a package of plain note cards into your own unique, personalized stationary. These DIY watercolor note cards are so simple to make, plus they put a pretty pastel accent on every note and reminder you make.
 
  • 1 Trim paper

    Trim the paper to desired size. These note cards measured 4" x 6".

  • 2 Load brush Watercolor brush strokes on note card

    Load the paint brush with the first color, adding just a little bit of water to keep the brush fairly dry. This will let the bristles create a distinct brushed look.

  • 3 Repeat Watercolor brush strokes on note card

    Repeat along the top of the card, varying the length of each brush stroke.

  • 4 Add another color Watercolor brush strokes on note card

    Repeat with a second color. Use just two colors or incorporate a third and fourth color.
