How to Make a Give Thanks Pocket Letter

Capture the meaning of Thansgiving when you craft this Give Thanks Pocket Letter. Make it your own using scrapbook paper to match your style and add a little gold glitter for some extra sparkle. Use it as decoration or as a gift for someone that you are feeling thankful for; either way, making this craft is sure to put you in the
holiday spirit!
  • 1 Cut Paper

Cut six scrapbook papers into 3 1/2'' squares and three more into 3 3/4''x3 1/2'' rectangles.

  • 2 Arrange Paper

Arrange the nine pieces of paper on your worktable, with the 3 3/4'' rectangles in the center column.

  • 3 Die Cut Paper

Die cut several leaves and acorns.

  • 4 Emboss & Trim Paper

Emboss "Give Thanks" on a piece of paper and trim it out to fit on a 3 3/4''x3 1/2'' rectangle. Apply gold ink to the letters with a foam applicator.

  • 5 Cut & Glue Doily

Cut a doily into fourths. Glue Dot® the doily sections to the corners of the four papers.

  • 6 Attach "Give Thanks"

Attach "Give Thanks" to the center paper, overlapping the doily.

  • 7 Add Turkeys & Pumpkins

Add a tukey sticker to two corner papers and pumpkins to the opposite corner papers.

  • 8 Arrange & Attach Papers

Arrange and attach die cut leaves and an acorn onto three of the papers.

  • 9 Cut, Stack & Fuse Papers

Cut a 3 1/4'' square of paper, die cut a leaf in the center of it. Cut and stack two 2 1/2'' squares from a Fuseable® sheet; fuse three sides together to make a pocket and add glitter and sequins. Seal the pocket and tape it to the back of the square. Attach this to the remaining paper.

  • 10 Fuse Paper

Place two 12''x12' Fuseable® clear sheets on top of eachother. Use the Fuse tool to fuse the left sides together. Position the top left square paper in between the sheets. Fuse above and below the paper. Add some confetti and then fuse the pocket.

  • 11 Continue Fusing Paper & Embellish

Continue to add the finished papers working left to right. Leave at least 1/4'' space between the papers. Add confetti and the Sprinkles where desired before fusing some pockets. The finished letter can be placed in a 12''x12'' clear album sleeve.
