How to Make a Gifted Ribbon Bow Invitation

When you're the hostess with the mostess, your gift to your friends and family is to throw an incredible holiday soiree! You can even turn your invitation into an actual gift with the help of a little glitter tape and this beginning card crafting project.
  • 1 Print invitations Print invitation

    Print out your invitation onto half of an 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock sheet. Print an invitation on the right and another on the left, then cut right down the middle.

  • 2 Create ribbon loops Create ribbon loops

    Fold your invitation into thirds so that you see the title when opening it. Fold over the glitter tape to make a loop, which will be a ribbon loop. Be sure to peel off the adhesive backing as you go. Wrap the glitter tape all the way around the back of the invitation, then create the second loop on the front ot make the other half of the ribbon.

  • 3 Cut mid section & ribbon tails Cut midsection & ribbon tails

    Cut a small strip to be the mid section of the ribbon, which can be arched when stuck on to create a 3D effect. Then, cut the ends of the tape to look like ribbon.
