How to Make a Sail Away DIY Frame
You can sail away any time with this DIY frame! Make this nifty nautical decor, then use it to decorate any room in your home that need a splash of summer. Don't forget to fill your frame with your favorite quote or summertime picture!

Choose paper
Choose coordinating papers from the pack. We chose anchors and stripes.

Take apart frame
Remove glass and backing from the frame.

Trace & cut frame
Place the paper facedown on table and the frame facedown on paper. Trace the opening and edge of the frame. Cut the shape from the paper.

Cut coordinating paper
Cut a 3" x 7" section of coordinating paper.

Attach paper
Attach papers to frame.

Wrap baker's twine
Wrap baker's twine around the frame where papers overlap.

Cut tags
Cut several other papers from the pack into 1 1/2" x 3" and 1 1/2" x 4" tags.

Attach tags
Punch a hole in each tag and tie onto baker's twine. Add a sticker to the smaller tag.

Add a picture or quote
Cut out a quote from the pack or a photo and place into frame.
