How to Make a Wood Style Wedding Card
This isn't your average wedding card! The faux wood front is a unique way to congratulate the happy couple, and you can be sure they'll appreciate your stylish sentiments. Plus, it's so simple to make, you'll want to mimic the style on all of your handmade cards.

Cut card
Create a 5 3/4" x 7 1/4" card using the 12" x 12" cardstock.

Cut & adhere metallic paper
Cut a 5 3/4" x 7 1/4" sheet of metallic paper and adhere it to the front of the card.

Adhere dark BARC
Cut a 7" x 5 1/2" piece of dark BARC and apply the adhesive backed sheet to the metallic paper.

Die cut light BARC
Die cut Mr & Mrs and Bride Groom from the light colored BARC. Apply the die cuts on top of the dark BARC.

Embellish with gems
Embellish the light BARC with self stick gems.
