How to Make a Bejeweled Tower Vase


What bride doesn't want to be dripping in jewels? An elegant bride can even have her table settings covered in crystals and pearls with our Bejeweled Tower Vase. With a few simple jewelry making techniques, anyone can create a beautiful vase to hold their centerpiece flowers.
 
  • 1 String eye pins

    String 4 eye pins with champagne AB, crystal, 12mm pearls, crystal and champagne AB. Trim and loop end pins.

  • 2 Repeat

    Repeat with 12 head pins.

  • 3 String eye pins

    String 11 eye pins with champagne AB, crystal, 10mm pearls, crystal and champagne AB. Trim and loop pin ends.

  • 4 String eye pins

    String 16 eye pins with champagne AB, crystal and champagne AB. Trim and loop pin ends.

  • 5 Cut chain

    Cut 11, 3" sections of chain, 6, 2" sections of chain and 25, 1" sections of chain.

  • 6 Connect to chain

    Connect a 3" chain to a large pearl pin, 1" chain, crystal pin, 1" chain, small pearl pin, 1" chain, 1 " chain and pearl head pin.

  • 7 Cut chipboard circle

    Cut a 3.5" circle from chipboard using the Martha Stewart circle cutter.

  • 8 Secure with jump ring Bejeweled Tower Vase

    Center the circle onto the plastic canvas. Punch 2 small holes over the X in the center. Open a jump ring and insert an end through the hole, down, add the last link in the 3" chain and bring around through the other hole.

  • 9 Place canvas

    Place the plastic canvas on top of the tower vase and let the beaded chain hang down inside.

  • 10 Attach beaded chain

    Make 5 beaded chains from a pearl head pin, 2" chain, crystal pin, 1" chain, large pearl pin and 2" chain. Open a jump ring, slide it through the last chain link and attach it to the plastic canvas circle hole. Connect a beaded chain section 11 holes apart on the plastic canvas.

  • 11 Make beaded chains

    Make 3 beaded chains from a pearl head pin, 1" chain, crystal pin, 1" chain, small pearl pin, 1" chain, crystal pin, 1" chain, large pearl pin and 1" chain.

  • 12 Attach beaded chains

    Attach beaded chain to plastic canvas 5 holes over from a set of beaded chains. Skip a set and attach 5 holes over from a beaded chain. Repeat again with the last beaded chain.

  • 13 Attach last beaded chains

    Make 3 beaded chains from a pearl head pin, 3" chain, crystal pin and a 3" chain. Attach the beaded chains to the plastic canvas 5 holes over from a beaded chain. Repeat again with last beaded chain.
