How to Make a Flower Girl Lantern

This lacy lantern is the perfect way for a flower girl to carry her petals down the aisle! The pearl and rhinestone covered lace lantern is just the accent for a classic, elegant wedding.
  • 1 Assemble lantern

Assemble paper lantern according to package instructions.

  • 2 Tie & attach bow

Tie bow using lace. Be sure to make the tails long enough to come out the bottom of the lantern. Attach bow to the top of the lantern using a chenille stem.

  • 3 Make a pearl handle

Attach an end of pearl to the top of the lantern using a chenille stem. Drop the other end into the lantern and out the bottom. Pull enough of the pearl strand back up to create a loop to use as a handle, and then connect it to the beginning strand with a chenille stem.

  • 4 Glue floral accent

Glue the floral accent to the top of the lantern.

  • 5 Add pearl magnet

Secure pearl magnet on front of the lantern.
