How to Make a Chain Fringe Shawl

Everyone loves a shawl to accent their outfit! They are trendy, cute and the perfect shoulder cover up for a dress or sleeveless shirt! Put your crocheting skills to the test and crochet your own Chain Fringe Shawl! 

Gauge: 20 sts and 9 rows = 4". Use any size hook necessary to obtain the specified gauge.

Measurement: Finished shawl measures approximately 18" wide x 60" long, excluding fringe.

    To make shawl wider, add multiples of 5 chs to the beginning chain. Each additional 5 chs adds 1" of width. Be sure to purchase additional yarn if changing width or length of shawl.

    turn.
    Row 3: Ch 3, dc in first dc, ch 1, sk next 2 dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, * sk next dc, dc in each
    of next 2 dc, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1; rep from * across to last 3 dc, sk next
