How to Make a Knit Triangle Shawl

Measurements: Approx 64" [162.5 cm] long x 32" [81.5 cm] deep (at deepest point). 
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows/r = 4" [10 cm] in stocking stitch

    Approx = Approximate(ly)
    Dec = Decrease(ing)
    K = Knit
    K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together
    Inc = Increase(ing)
    Rep = Repeat
    RS = Right side
    Ssk = Slip next 2 stitches knitwise one at a time. Pass them back onto left-hand needle, then knit through back loops together.
    St(s) = Stitch(es)
    WS = Wrong side
    Yo = Yarn over

    3rd and alt rows: Knit.

    7th row: As 3rd row.
    Rep last 2 rows, inc 1 st every other row until piece measures approx 32" [81.5 cm] along straight edge, ending on a 7th row.
