How to Make a Patterned Crochet Scarf

Gauge: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4" [10 cm].

     Approx 10" x 100" [25.5 x 254 cm], excluding fringe.

    Granny Square (make 10). With A, ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.

    Ch 3 (counts as dc). 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 12 dc.

    Sew 10 Granny Squares tog end to end to form Scarf.

  • 14 Fringe

    Cut strands of D 20" [51 cm] long. Taking 4 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe across ends of Scarf. Trim fringe evenly.
