How to Make a Bridal Bouquet

Wedding season is here and you can prepare for the special day with a bride or bridesmaid bouquet, courtesy of EnWreathed! Each bouquet will be a beautiful addition to any celebration with its lush greenery, fall-inspired colors and decorative ribbon.
  • 1 Protect work area

Protect your working area. The flowers may shed and the hot glue may drip.

  • 2 Cut the greenery bush

Using the wire cutters, snip ends of the greenery bush (six total) and set aside. Four stems will be used for the bride's bouquet and two will be used for the the bridesmaid's bouquet.

  • 3 Prepare the Deluxe Bundle Mix

Carefully cut the cable tie and jute bow from the Deluxe Bundle Mix. The flower stems will now be separated. Reshape, bend and fluff the flowers as they would appear in nature. The silk flower buds can be opened using low heat from a hairdryer as the heat will help the petals lay flat.

  • 4 Cut the paper stems

Cut the raffia paper stemps pic as shown in the picture. This accent is not necessary and distracts from the overall look of the finished bouquet.

  • 5 Arrange the bouquet

Gather each stem to form a bundle bouquet. Make sure the white flowers are not all grouped together and intermix with blue hydrangias. Re-bend the pumpkin accents to fit the shape.

Tip: Arrange the flowers while looking in a mirror. This helps to see the flowers and pics that need repositioned. Hold the stems tight as this will help hold the shape. The flowers should not be so tight and compact but slightly pulled out for a light and airy feeling and look.

  • 6 Secure the bouquet's stems

Once you have the shape and style you like, secure the stems with a cable tie, florist tape or wire.

  • 7 Cut the bouquet's stems

Cut bottom stems all the same length as much as possible.

  • 8 Wrap ribbon around the stems

Begin wrapping ribbon around the stems. Use hot glue to tack the top piece around the wire or cable tie used in step 6. Glue the loose end of the ribbon to the wrapped ribbon.

  • 9 How to create a bridesmaid bouquet

To create a smaller bridesmaid bouquet, seperate the stems on the Deluxe Blue Indigo grouping by cutting the cable tie. Follow the same process from step 5. The final product will be smaller than the bride's bouquet. Continue following the instructions above to create the bridesmaid bouquet.

  • 10 Add the remaining greenery stems

Include the two remaining greenery stems in the bouquet. Reshape and bend slightly down. These pics should not be sticking straight up as it will not flow with the overall look of the bouquet.
