How to Make FALL Mason Jars
Have some fall fun on your mantle with these festive FALL Mason Jars! The chalky paint and distressed texture give these jars a rustic fall motif that pairs perfectly with your favorite fall longstems. Use our steps as a starting point, and then customize your jars with different paint colors, paper patterns and flower fillings.

Paint mason jars
Use a sponge brush to paint all of the mason jars with 2 coats of chalky paint. We used Americana Decor Chalky Paint in Whisper Ivory. Let dry completely.

Distress with sandpaper
Distress the painted jars by taking sandpaper and going over any raised lettering or design. Also distress around the lid, and any other random spots.

Cut out scrapbook paper letters
Use a Silhouette or stencils to cut the letters FALL out of scrapbook paper of choice.

Adhere with Glue Dots
Use Glue Dots to adhere scrapbook paper letters onto jars.

Arrange flowers
Arrange flowers inside of each jar.
