How to Make a Cardinal Christmas Centerpiece

A bright red cardinal against a wintertime backdrop is one of nature's most beautiful scenes, and you can recreate it in your home when you make this easy Cardinal Christmas Centerpiece! This is the perfect project to introduce any beginner to basic floral design techniques because you're guaranteed to end up with a beautiful finished decoration.
  • 1 Clean brandy sniffer

    Clean the inside of the brandy sniffer.

  • 2 Cut & attach floral foam

    Attach a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1/2" piece of foam to the bottom of the brandy sniffer.

  • 3 Cover foam

    Cover the foam with moss.

  • 4 Trim & position stems

    Trim the stems on the floral picks. Position them in the foam using the above picture as a guide.

  • 5 Position & glue cardinal

    Glue the bottom side of the cardinal and position it in the foam.
